GRAND SLAM GRANTS PROGRAM
One way our foundation fulfills its mission to foster the growth and development of young athletes and the sports community is through awarding grants to local organizations committed to enhancing youth baseball and softball programs and facilities, ensuring that young athletes have access to high-quality environments.
AREAS SERVED
Waukesha and Eastern Jefferson Counties
WHO CAN APPLY
Grants will principally be made to nonprofits that have been awarded tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service; however, public and private schools, youth baseball/softball leagues and individual teams are also eligible.
In all cases, grants will be made for programs or resources that enhance the experience or the safety of the participants but cannot be used for ongoing staffing or operating expenses.
PRIORITIES FOR SUPPORT
- Baseball and softball teams for elementary/middle/high school aged students.
- Baseball and softball leagues for elementary/middle/high school aged students.
- Baseball and softball skills training clinics for middle/high school aged students.
- Physical training safety clinics for elementary/middle/high school aged baseball and softball players.
- Equipment, uniforms, facility upgrades (not regular maintenance) for elementary/middle/high school-aged baseball and softball teams/leagues.
